2025-02-14

The "Training Course on Neonatal&Preterm Baby Treatment for Developing Countries," hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and organized by Hunan Children's Hospital, was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan, in August 2024. Thirteen participants from four countries—Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Mexico, and Lesotho—traveled from afar to attend the 21-day training program on neonatal and preterm infant rescue techniques.

In order to enrich the cultural experience of the participants and promote international friendship, a special cultural tour of Xi 'an was organized. Under the guidance of the guide, the students set foot in Xi 'an, a famous historical and cultural city in China, and visited the world-famous museum of Qin Shihuang's Terracotta Warriors and horses. In the museum, the students were deeply shocked by the magnificent momentum and exquisite craftsmanship of the terracotta warriors, and had a more intuitive understanding of the history of the Qin Dynasty. In addition, the beautiful scenery of Huaqing Pond and the moving stories behind it also attracted the students' attention, so that they had a taste of the life of the ancient emperors.

As another important scenic spot, the ancient city Wall of Xi 'an makes students linger. They rode bicycles around the city walls, exercising themselves and enjoying the city's ancient charm and modern look. Through the visit, the students deeply felt the unique charm of Xi 'an in protecting traditional culture and promoting innovative development.

In addition to its rich history and culture, the students were also impressed by Xi 'an's modern development. They have seen China's great achievements in economy, science and technology, culture and other fields, and have a more comprehensive and objective understanding of China's development.

This trip to Xi 'an is not only a cultural trip, but also a friendship trip. During the tour, the students shared cultural stories of their respective countries and deepened their understanding and friendship with each other. They all said that this trip will be one of the most unforgettable experiences of their lives, and look forward to more cooperation in the medical field in the future, and jointly contribute to the cause of human health.

Through this training course and the cultural trip to Xi 'an, the students not only improved their professional skills, but also had a deeper understanding and love for Chinese culture. This has laid a more solid foundation for their future international cooperation and exchanges and injected new impetus into the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
