2024 Training Course on Pediatric Critical Care for Developing Countries was successfully completed

On September 9, 2024, the closing ceremony of the "2024 Training Course on Pediatric Critical Care Technology for Developing Countries" sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and implemented by Hunan Children's Hospital was held in the Sunshine Hotel of Jinyuan, Changsha. Qu Shuangquan, Vice President of Hunan Children's Hospital, Zhou Aizhong, Director of the second Regional Cooperation Department of Hunan Department of Commerce, and Ding Xiang, deputy director of Hunan Children's Hospital, attended the ceremony. The meeting was presided over by Wang Li, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Hunan Children's Hospital. The ceremony marked the successful conclusion of the training course and also demonstrated the achievements of China's international cooperation and exchange in the field of pediatric critical illness treatment technology.

At the ceremony, Wang Li, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Hunan Children's Hospital, on behalf of all the staff of the hospital, expressed the most sincere congratulations to the 17 pediatric experts. Qu Shuangquan, vice president of Hunan Children's Hospital, gave a summative speech and affirmed the hospital's foreign aid work, and wished the medical and health development of pediatric critical illness treatment technology to make long-term progress. On behalf of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, Mr. Zhou Aizhong, director of the second Regional Cooperation Division of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, warmly congratulated all the participants on the successful completion of the training course.

Ms. Areen AL FREIJAT, speaking as the expert representative of the training course, deeply thanked the Chinese government for building this valuable learning and exchange platform for the students, and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the leaders and staff of Hunan Children's Hospital for their careful planning and thoughtful service. During her visit to China, she not only deeply appreciated the profound heritage of Chinese culture, but also forged a sincere friendship with the Chinese people. Looking ahead, she looked forward to deepening the cooperation between the two countries and looking forward to more opportunities to broaden the areas of exchange between the two sides.


At the end of the speech session, the organizer solemnly awarded the certificate of completion to all the experts, and presented Hunan embroidery with Hunan cultural characteristics as a souvenir, implying that the transnational friendship formed by the training will last forever. At the end of the ceremony, the leaders and experts took a group photo together, marking a successful end to the "2024 Training Course on Pediatric Critical Care Technology in Developing Countries".
