A New Chapter of China-Nepal Medical Cooperation: The 2024 Training Course on Child Nutrition Management in Nepal was successfully completed
On the morning of September 26, 2024, the closing ceremony of the "2024 Nepalese Children Nutrition Management Training Course" sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by Hunan Children's Hospital was officially held at Yenian Shanyu Hotel. The ceremony marked the successful conclusion of the 21-day bilateral training program.
Zhou Aizhong, Director of the second Regional Cooperation Department of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, and Qu Shuangquan, vice president of Hunan Children's Hospital, attended the closing ceremony, which was presided over by Wang Li, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Hunan Children's Hospital.
Vice President Qu Shuangquan delivered a speech at the ceremony, congratulating the 24 Nepalese trainees on their successful completion of the training task and affirms their professionalism and learning attitude during the training.
In his speech, Director Zhou Aizhong highly praised the professionalism and organizational ability of Hunan Children's Hospital in the preparation and implementation of the training course. He encouraged the students to apply the advanced knowledge and technology they learned in China to their practical work and contribute to the improvement of the level of children's nutrition management in Nepal, and hoped that the students would become envoys of China-Nepal medical exchanges and share their experiences in China.
Ms. Shakuntla Sapkota, an expert representative of the training course, said in her speech that the training not only improved the professional skills of the participants, but also deepened their understanding of the Chinese medical system. On behalf of all the participants, she expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for its selfless assistance and promised to apply what she learned to Nepal's medical cause.
Subsequently, the organizer issued a certificate of completion to all the students, and presented Hunan embroidery with Hunan characteristics as a souvenir. The students expressed their gratitude to their Chinese friends with gifts such as shawls, scarves and bodhi beads with Nepalese characteristics.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants took a group photo with the participants, marking a successful end to the "2024 Nepal Child Nutrition Management Training Course". The successful holding of this training course not only promotes the exchanges and cooperation between China and Nepal in the field of medical and health care, but also provides useful reference for more transnational cooperation projects in the future.
