On the morning of September 29, 2024, the closing ceremony of the “2024 Training Course on Clinical Laboratory Techniques for Developing Countries”, a cooperative project sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by Hunan Children's Hospital, was successfully held in Yenian Shanyu Hotel. The ceremony marked the successful conclusion of the 21-day training program and opened a new chapter for future international cooperation and exchanges.
Wu Haonan, director of the second Regional Cooperation Department of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, and Ma Lin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Provincial Children's Hospital, attended the graduation ceremony. Wang Li, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Hunan Children's Hospital, presided over the event.
At the graduation ceremony, Deputy Secretary Ma Lin first delivered a speech, congratulating the 24 students who successfully completed the training task, and affirming their professional growth in the field of clinical laboratory technology. She pointed out that these students will become an important force in the future development of medical career.
Later, Director Wu Haonan delivered an important speech. He spoke highly of the professional standard and organizational ability of Hunan Children's Hospital in this workshop and expressed appreciation for the achievements of the students. Director Wu Haonan stressed that the students should flexibly apply the knowledge and technology to clinical practice, and contribute to improving the level of clinical testing in China and even in the world. At the same time, he also encouraged the students to actively share their study experience in Hunan, China, to promote international exchanges and cooperation in the medical industry.
At the end of the ceremony, the organizer awarded the completion certificate to all the students, and presented Hunan embroidery with Hunan characteristics as a souvenir. The completion certificate not only reflects the recognition and respect of the students, but also symbolizes their achievements in the field of clinical laboratory technology. In return, the students presented gifts with Nepalese national characteristics, which further deepened the friendship and cooperation between China and Nepal.
The ceremony ended successfully in a group photo between the leaders and the students. The successful holding of this training course not only provides valuable learning opportunities for the participants, but also lays a solid foundation for future international cooperation and exchanges.
