The Closing Ceremony for “Training Course on Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission Diseases for Developing Countries” was successfully completed
On the morning of September 24, 2024, the closing ceremony of the international cooperation project "2024 Training Course on Prevention and Control of Mother-to-Child Transmission Diseases in Developing Countries", sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by Hunan Children's Hospital, was officially held in Jinyuan Sunshine Hotel. Zhou Aizhong, Director of the Second Regional Cooperation Department of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, Xiao Zhenghui, President of Hunan Children's Hospital, and Ding Xiang, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center, all attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Wang Li, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Hunan Children's Hospital.
At the graduation ceremony, President Xiao Zhenghui congratulated the 16 students who successfully completed the training course. Director Zhou Aizhong spoke highly of the contribution of Hunan Children's Hospital in the preparation and implementation of the training course, and encouraged the students to apply their knowledge to practice to benefit more people. He also hopes that the students can share their learning experience in Hunan, China with more people.
In his speech, Mr. ESHETU TADELE KEBEDE, the expert representative of the training course, expressed his sincere thanks to the Chinese government for its generous assistance and selfless support. He pointed out that the training will not only benefit the expert team, but also contribute to the development of Ethiopia's medical and health industry.
Afterwards, the organizers held a solemn and short ceremony to award certificates of completion to all the experts involved in the training in recognition of their completed courses and achievements. At the same time, the organizers also presented each expert with Hunan embroidery rich in Hunan cultural characteristics as a souvenir.
This training activity not only enhanced the professional skills of the experts, but also greatly promoted the international cultural exchanges and mutual understanding, and built a bridge of transnational friendship for experts from various countries. This spirit of friendship and cooperation will undoubtedly serve as a good foundation for promoting international cooperation in the future.
