From August.8^th,2011  to October.18^th ,2011, weare 27 medical workers from different hospital in Sierra Leone travel to Chinaand participated in the “Training course on Hospital Management and MedicalStaff for Sierra Leone.The hospitality and environment was an unprecedented impression for us. Thepractical training contents covered the field of Maternaland Child Healthcare, Common Disease Prevention and Treatment, Infectious DiseasePrevention and Treatment, Nursing Techniques suited medical situation in Sierra Leone.Training model was based on “theoretical teaching &clinical practice &case analysis & expert guidance & field trips” as the way to upgradeour theory and enhance professional techniques. For all of us this wasnot only a medical training it was also a cultural exchange that will bepermanent in our memories forever.”

As China’sonly pediatrics foreign aid training unit, Hunan Children’s Hospital hasundertaken 37 foreign aid training courses, sponsored by the Ministry ofCommerce of People’s Republic of China. the Hospital has trainedabout 1129 medical health officials and technicians for 70 countries. There are106 medical staff from Sierra Leone, Medical Training Program provide anexcellent platform of sharing pediatric knowledge and techniques. Mr. KamaraMichael Mohamed participated in the “Training Course on Medical Staff for Sierra Leone 2014”and narrated ,“This is the most cherished time in my whole life. During thetraining period, Ebola was break out in Sierra Leone like deadline came toour mind, our colleagues and family member were in life danger that reallydrive us into upset and panic. The hospital training team took numerousmeasures to comfort us, especially the President Jin Xu of Academy forinternational Business Official(AIBO) under the Ministry of Commerce specificallywent to Hunan Children’ s Hospital to encourage us. What a sweet people thatsupport us!”.
